1998

Open Wave launches out of a warehouse in Collingwood, Australia.

2002

Open Wave is scheduling 80% of Australian call centre staff. Major clients included: Coles Myer, Westpac, Suncorp, AGL, News Corp, AMP, Australian Government, Fairfax, Tabcorp Holdings, Origin Energy, Citi Power, Medibank Private, AAMI, NRMA, HBA, Link, Qantas Holidays, iiNet, Foxtel, Virgin Mobile.

2004

Open Wave launches in the UK and schedules 40% of UK call centre staff. Major clients included: British National Health Service (NHS), BSkyB, Lloyds TSB, Haringey/Merseyside/Hampshire Constabulary, and Windsor/Glasgow/Manchester local Government.

2008

Open Wave secure worldwide contracts: Malaysia Telecom, Vodafone Hutchinson, HCL, Bankers Trust, DHL, Coca-Cola, and the Virgin Group.

2011

Open wave acquired by a leading US technology company.

2013

A significant global shift to the adoption of cloud-first and SaaS delivery software solutions.

2015

Ploytech is incorporated to build a pure-cloud WFO solution from the ground up.

2016

Time2Work is launched.

2017

Ploytech signs watershed contracts with JB HI-FI/The Good Guys – Australia’s largest home entertainment retailer; a leading NASDAQ financial services company operating in the US and Mexico; and UK company Serco Group Plc, who deliver essential services to Government in Defence, Justice, Immigration, Health Care in the UK, North America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

2018

nimbus Connect: Contact Centre Workforce Optimsation solution built and launched with seamless integration to Amazon Connect.

Granted United States patent for secure connection to a SoftPhone and work time controlled by WFM controls

2019

nimbus Hub is launched to disrupt telecommunication infrastructure for disaster recovery and business continuity.

The nimbus partner ecosystem continues to grow, with worldwide partnering agreement signed with leading system integration partners.

2020

Signed strategic partnership agreement with Telstra and major resellers to elevate the nimbus Hub positioning.

COVID-19 hits – launch the “live anywhere, work
everywhere” initiative.

Rebrand to nimbus Cloud. Aligning all products: nimbus Time2Work, nimbus Connect, and nimbus Hub to deliver a complete and optimised workforce offering.

Patent extension (worldwide).

100,000 users everyday are benefiting from the integrated, compliant, and human empowered solutions.

2021

COVID compliance is enabled as part of the nimbus platform, giving control back to clients to keep their staff and customers safe.

Serco Group Plc renews its worldwide contract. ​

In partnership with Cloudwave, nimbus Connect helps clients motivate agents to provide the best customer experience
